In today’s climate of increased demand, extended lead times and material shortages, automation is key to saving both time and money. That’s why bespoke glazing supplier NÜEVO HOME has invested half a million pounds in new machinery in order to improve its manufacturing capability, product quality, and overall customer offering. Built in Italy, the company’s new Axel cut and divide 5-axis processing machining combines advanced cutting capabilities and high-speed part processing with integrated automation, maximising machine productivity and facilitating unattended operation. Saving time and money The Axel cut and divide 5-axis processing machine offers high performance FOM electrospindles designed for heavy duty metal working, full interpolation on 5-axis and wide range angle ranges, independent automatic clamp positioning, rotating support rollers to avoid scratches on materials and automatic correction of extrusion tolerances by a probe system. In addition, it boasts flow-drill and heavy duty milling operations, as well as 3D FOM software. Allowing for over 94% glazing areas, EvoFold has a fully integrated flush threshold and high thermal insulation thanks to an integrated polyamide thermal break. NÜEVO HOME also has the EvoSlide sliding door – with 20mm interlock sightline available and two to six panels of up to 2.5m wide and 3m high, multiple track as well as threshold options, these double sliding patio doors also offer the possibility of a pocket system, smoothly disappearing into a wall cavity when fully opened. As well as the traditional manual operating system, NÜEVO HOME also offers the EvoGlide sliding door, a modern and practical automatic motorised system ideal for luxury home automation. And finally in the range is the Nüminium entrance door.
