DEMI Edwards’ double, coupled with goals from
Vicky Grieve and Melanie Hall, earned Rangers
a third consecutive victory as they continued
their impressive start to 2022.
Defender Grieve set the ball rolling at St Neots
Town, scoring the visitors’ opening goal in the
12th minute.
Edwards made it 2-0 with her first of the
afternoon just before the half-hour mark and
the Super Hoops built on their advantage
during the second period.
A second goal for Edwards, slotted neatly into
the Cambridge net in the 61st minute, took
Steve Quashie’s side further ahead.
Top scorer Hall rounded off the victory with
Rangers’ fourth goal 12 minutes later, ensuring
that they climbed to fifth place in the FA
Women’s National League table.
Rangers return to action on Sunday when they
travel to Harlow Town Ladies (kick-off 2pm).
