Nayaka Thera. I am pleased to send this message to the
Ananda Nayaka Thera regarding his amazing talent and
uncountable superb service to the Sri Lanka and Japan
people.
According to the Dhammapada - 183; “Sabbapāpassa
akaranam kusalassa upasampadā, sacitta pariyodapanam
etam Buddhāna sāsanam” - (To refrain from doing harm, to
cultivate good, and to purify the mind. This is the teaching
of the Buddhas) Most Venerable Dr. Pannila Sri Ananda
Nayaka Thera is the very ideal monk to the Gautama
Buddha Sasana. Regarding our religious friendship history,
I know very well about Most Venerable Dr. Pannila Sri
Ananda Nayaka Thera’s capacity to improve and develop
the community’s bonds forever. As a Buddhist of Japan, a
country proud of its purest form of Theravada Buddhism,
which was sustained for many years mainly due to the
commitment and tireless efforts of the Sangha.
My sincere wish is to see the good health of Most
Venerable Dr. Pannila Sri Ananda Nayaka Thera and this
historic occasion was a landmark in the history of the two
countries which contributed to the strengthening of the
historical bonds between the two countries. Further this
occasion offers on opportunity to the peoples of the two
countries to deepen understanding and foster harmony. I
strongly feel that the building of a spiritual environment
is a prerequisite to build a partnership based on lasting
peace and quality. Learning and knowledge provide the
path to good relationships in the modern world. From
ancient times, had a well developed system of education
centred on the temple. The beneficial expansion of this
system was seen with the establishment of universities for
academics desirous of learning Buddhism. The learning of
the Dhamma with devotion and wisdom is necessary for a
proper understanding of the reality of life.
The support is one of the essential preliminary steps
in Buddhist practice. When practiced, it is a basis of merit
or wholesome kamma. According to the Lord Gautama
Buddha’s teaching, Dhamma alms-giving is the noble alms
and exploring the Dhamma worldwide is one of the most
valuable merits. I wish to all of you, full of health, happiness
& success ! May Triple Gem Blessed you every time! Live a
long life in health!
May our noble efforts be blessed by the Buddha, the
Dhamma and the Sangha.

Venerable Dr. Pannila Sri Ananda Nayaka Thera’s grace,
wisdom, and humility, as well as his dedication to greater
global equality and the equal rights of all people, including
his fellow all devotees. According to my long term with his
social services, I can mention Most Venerable Dr. Pannila Sri
Ananda Nayaka Thera’s super vision to the all Sri Lankans.
On the occasion of the Most Venerable Dr. Pannila Sri
Ananda Nayaka Thera’s 75th Happy Birthday, our vision - one
that is supported and shared by the Ananda Nayaka Thera
- is to encourage genuine human interconnection and unity
in an increasingly divided world. The Schools three stories
building project will do this by creating a transformational
hub of compassionate and humane education that is open
to everyone.
This Birthday recognizes the exemplary effort to
spread the teachings of Buddhism to an international
audience who are interested in exploring the religion and
Most Venerable Dr. Pannila Sri Ananda Nayaka Thera’s
dedication to creating an international harmony and
culture of peace through Buddhism.
Our Team behind the success of these projects,
sincerely believes that spreading the teachings of Buddhism
and the Dhamma would be very useful for those interested
to follow the sublime path as well as those who aspire to
be in that path from all around the world and shall strive
at all times to bring the message of sublime Dhamma to
all in this world which is beset with greed and hatred and
help them to alleviate their minds and lead happy lives
hereafter.
On behalf of all my fellow Taiwanese, wishing on
your 75th Birthday. May Your Most Venerable Dr. Pannila
Sri Ananda Nayaka Thera continue to enjoy exuberant
health and live for eons and eons to guide all beings to
happiness, wisdom, and dignity. You are such a miracle to
the next generation and meaningful world. I wish you all
to be Healthy and Happy and long life with Blessings of
Noble Triple Gem for the benefit and upliftment of Buddha
