MISSION<br />

USE OtlL'l<br />

The mission of the 32Dth Bombardment Wing is to maintain the capability<br />

to conduct long range bombardment operations using assigned weapons<br />

and to sustain the capability to engage in effective air supply operations.<br />

This mission requires a concentrated recurring training effort to produce<br />

a force capable of immediate and sustained long range offensive bombardment<br />

and air-to-air refueling operations on a global scale, using the latest<br />

technical knowledge, advanced weapons, and procedures.<br />

In fulfilling this mission, the wing contributes significantly to the maintenance<br />

of a creditable nuclear deterrent force capable of performing a<br />

variety of tasks in support of our national objectives. Performance of the<br />

mission involves effective utilization of assigned bombers, tankers, and<br />

air-to-ground missiles in conducting readiness training while maintaining a<br />

portion of the wing's force on immediate reaction ground alert.<br />
