Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips

2022 ANNUAL BILLING NOTICE 

Annual billing statements was mailed by November 30 th . Payments must be 

received and posted to your account no later than January 30, 2022, to avoid 

any late fees or other penalties. For your convenience, you may pay in a few 

ways. You may drop off your payment to the onsite office and we will mail it for 

you, you may mail in your own payment or you may pay online via TownSq. 

There are additional transaction fees for paying on TownSq. TownSq uses 

a third party to process the payment. The HOA and management company, 

Associa PMG, do not receive any of these transaction fees. 

Ungated: $940 

Gated: $1140 

If you need a payment plan, please contact the management company at 

stonegaterec@att.net. Payment plans require a $300 deposit. All payment 

plans will incur monthly interest of 0.83% plus a $5 monthly payment plan 

fee. 

Reminders 

• On 1/31/2022, if payment has not been posted to your account, you will be 

charged a $100 late fee. 

• Every month your HOA dues are late, you will be charged a $7.50 monthly 

handling fee. 

• The posted date is when payment has been applied to your account. 

• Postdate is NOT USPS’ postmark on the envelope. 

• If homeowners choose to mail in their payments, please mail them no later 

than 1/12/2022. 

• Homeowners need to allow time for USPS to pick up and deliver the mail 

and for the payment to be processed. 

• The fastest way to pay is through TownSq because payments will be posted 

to homeowners’ accounts within minutes. 

• You may prepay your assessments throughout the year.

Effective November 22 nd , Best Trash became your new trash and recycle 

collection provider. 

Trash will be collected Monday and Thursday. 

Please have trash and recycling out by 7 AM 

Recycling will be split in the District: 

- Residents to the East of Queenston Boulevard will have recycle collection 

Monday. 

- Residents to the West of Queenston Boulevard will have recycle collection 

on Thursday. 

- Best Trash will provide one 48-gallon recycle cart. New recycle carts were 

delivered the week of November 15 th .

The Board of Directors are hard at work and cannot wait 

to share the details of all of the exciting improvements 

being made in our community! Until then please note 

we have hired a new General Manager named Krystal 

Vigil and onsite staff who cannot wait to serve our 

amazing residents. We will formally announce the 

new team as soon as they are all on Board. The Social 

Committee is planning a Meet & Greet so you can stop 

by and welcome the new staff and Board of Directors.

PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE DUCKS AND GEESE 

Spring is the air and this lovely weather has many of us visiting 

our community parks and ponds. It can be tempting to feed the 

ducks as geese as many of us have grown up thinking that this 

was an environmentally responsible and humane way to dispose 

of old or stale bread. However, feeding ducks and geese is actually 

unhealthy and potentially dangerous for the birds. This seemingly 

generous act, in fact, can be extremely harmful. 

Bread and similar products such as crackers, chips, doughnuts 

and popcorn have little nutritional value. Without healthy food 

and proper nutrition the ducks and geese will quickly succumb 

to disease and death. Feeding ducks and geese can lead to the 

following problems as well: 

• Duckling malnutrition - in areas where ducks are regularly fed 

bread the ducklings will not receive adequate nutrition for proper 

growth and development. 

• Overcrowding - Where food is easy to come by, ducks and other 

waterfowl will lay more eggs and the pond or lake will become 

overcrowded. This makes it more difficult for the birds to seek 

out healthier food sources and increases territorial aggression, 

especially during mating season. It will also cause ducks to cross 

busy streets in search of food. 

• Pollution - What happens to all that bread that is not eaten? It 

causes algae growths, pollution and can eventually eradicate fish 

and other life in the vicinity. 

• Diseases - A diet rich in carbohydrates leads to greater fecal 

production and bird feces easily harbors bacteria responsible for 

numerous diseases including avian botulism.

• Attraction of pests - Rotting leftover food attracts other 

unwelcome pests such as rats, mice and insects. These pests can 

also harbor additional diseases that can be dangerous to humans. 

If you care about ducks and geese, do not feed them. They can 

live longer, healthier lives by relying on natural food sources such 

as aquatic plants, seeds, grasses and insects rather than taking 

handouts from will-meaning humans. Now that you know, you 

can help by not feeding the ducks and geese and by educating 

other duck lovers.

list of New Year’s Resolutions, which 

were adapted by my late mother, Pauline Phillips, 

from the original credo of Al-Anon: 

LIFE IS THE MOMENT WE’RE LIVING RIGHT NOW. 


I will live through this day only. I will not brood about yesterday 

or obsess about tomorrow. I will not set far-reaching 

goals or try to overcome all of my problems at once. 

I know that I can do something for 24 hours that would 

overwhelm me if I had to keep it up for a lifetime. 


I will be happy. I will not dwell on thoughts that 

depress me. If my mind fills with clouds, I will 

chase them away and fill it with sunshine. 


I will refrain from improving anybody 

but myself. 


I will accept what is. I will face reality. I will correct those 

things that I can correct and accept those I cannot. 


I will improve my mind. I will read something 

that requires effort, thought and concentration.

Do you get that let down feeling in January once all the decorations 

come down? My favorite part of the holiday season is the lights and my 

husband teases that YEAR ROUND I would have the inside of our house 

looking like the Griswald’s outdoors if he let me. (He is probably right, 

lol.) So my compromise is that I get Mason jars, mayo or pickle jars or 

even some vases and I use the battery operated string lights to make 

“normal” decorations. In one, along with the lights, I have the glass
