Installing Windows 2000 Advanced Server (ES5044R, ES5085R, and ES2024R)
2. Press Alt-M to start BIOS Options Utility. A BIOS options menu appears:

BIOS enabled
CD-ROM boot disabled
8GB drive geometry
Note: The BIOS should be enabled from the factory.
If BIOS options are not set as above, continue with steps b through f as needed;
otherwise, go to step e.
3. Select the BIOS option using the arrow keys. Press Enter to change the option to
Enabled.
4. Select the drive geometry option using the arrow keys. Press Enter to change the
option to 8GB.
A warning message appears:
Changing drive geometry may lead to non-bootable
system drives and/or loss of data!
Proceed anyway? (Y/N)
5. Type Y (yes) and press Enter. The drive geometry is now 8GB.
6. Press Esc twice to quit BIOS Option Utility.
A message appears:
The system will restart.
Press any key to continue.
7. Press Enter and let the system reboot.
Watch the messages on the screen for the ALT-R prompt.
8. Press Alt-R to start the Mylex RAID EzAssist utility.
An EzAssist Menu for configuring RAID logical arrays appears as follows:

9. Select the option Configure RAID Drive using the arrow keys, then press Enter.
A Configuration Method menu appears:
