To register Windows 2000 Advanced, you need the key number printed on a label on the back of
the Windows 2000 Advanced CD-ROM jewel case or on the Certificate of Authentication.

Time Zone tab screen.
3.1. Determining Whether Software Is Preloaded
Caution
To prevent installation problems or wasted time, determine whether Windows
2000 Advanced has been preloaded. Then follow either the procedure for
preloaded software or the full installation procedure, as appropriate.
To determine whether the Windows 2000 Advanced operating system is preloaded,
perform the steps below.
Notes:
• Before powering on the Intel node, verify that the preloaded RAID disks are installed
in the correct bays as labeled on the disks. See the applicable server system map for
the location and layout of the drive bays.
• If you encounter any problems installing the RAD6002-P64 RAID card, refer to the
Unisys Ultra160 RAID Adapter Driver Update Notice (4556 3947).
1. Power the Intel node on and allow it to fully boot (takes about 2 minutes).
During the boot, the following message may appear:
DAC1100 found new configuration, it will
reset to update configuration.
DAC1100 reset complete.
That message indicates that the RAID configuration saved in nonvolatile memory by
the RAID controller does not match the current configuration. If no errors occurred
during the reset, proceed to step 11 below. Otherwise, continue with step 2 to correct
the problem.
