**The ES5085R comes with a Dual-Port Intel-Pro/100 Ethernet card. You will have to obtain a second IP
address for the second port.
ò You are not prompted for the DNS host name when you install Windows 2000 or Windows NT. It is required
when you install UnixWare.
Cautions
• The ClearPath IX server private interconnect (FDDI LAN) must not be
connected in any way to any external network (for example, by a gateway or
router).
• CMS 1100 must be configured for the 2200 node and system consoles as
described in 2.3.
• If the site does not currently have a network, it must consider installing the
ClearPath IX server as a private network as described in 2.4.2.
