l. Repeat these procedures for each of the OS 2200 systems and consoles you wish to
customize.
6. Save and Verify the new configuration changes as follows:
a. In the Configure SPO Basic Edition main menu click File, then select the Save
Configuration option.
A window asks if you want to perform configuration verification.
b. Click Yes.
After a few moments, a window appears stating that no errors were found.
If errors are detected, two windows appear, one describing the errors and the
other asking if you wish to save the configuration anyway. Follow the instructions
given in the results window to fix the errors.
You now must reinstall the URM agents for UnixWare nodes (if applicable) as described in
16.5.6.
16.5.6. Reinstalling the URM Agents (UnixWare Nodes Only)
After modifying host representations, you must take the following steps to reinstall URM
agents on UnixWare nodes to allow the agents to interact with the new site-defined
representation names:
1. In the Single Point Configuration routine's main menu click Application, then select
the Maintain UNIX Agents option.
Two windows with tables appear—a Maintain UNIX Agents window and a URM
policies window.
2. In the Maintain UNIX Agents table, click the hyphen (-) under URM Policy for each
new UnixWare node name.
A dialogue box appears.
3. Under URM Policy, double-click default.
4. Under Security Scheme, click Access Allowed for each new UnixWare node name.
A dialogue box appears.
5. Under Security Scheme, double-click Manual Install.
6. In the Maintain UNIX Agents table, click the hyphen (-) under URM Policy for the new
SPO server name.
A dialogue box appears.
7. Under URM policy, double-click default.
8. In the Maintain UNIX Agents window's menu bar, click Execute, then select Install.
A dialogue box appears asking you to select the systems on which you want to install
agents.
