3. Start the rename script by entering the following command:
sh ./rename_nt.sh
16.5.5. Changing a Representation Using the Single Point
Configuration Routine
The most complete method of changing the host and console representations is to first
delete the predefined host or console, then add a new host or console using a site-defined
name. The following procedure describes the steps to take:
1. Create a new configuration as follows:
a. Log on to SPO Basic Edition as spadmin to start the Single Point Configuration
routine.
You are prompted to select a configuration to edit.
b. Select the configuration to edit (for example, 2_2UNIX_2NT_6.3CP), then select
OK.
In a few moments, the TopCluster window and the Configure SPO Basic Edition
main menu window appear.
c. Click File in the main menu and select the Save Configuration As option.
You are prompted to enter the name of the new configuration.
d. Enter a name for the new configuration you are creating, then click OK.
After a few moments, the new configuration is created and the main menu title
reflects that you are now editing your new configuration (the Single Point
Configuration routine automatically switches to the new configuration).
e. In the TopCluster window menu, click Edit, then select the Icon Placement option.
This opens the Edit Icon Placement window. Move the window to keep it
accessible without overlapping the TopCluster window.
2. Customize UnixWare node representations as follows:
a. If the node is not included in a UnixWare 7 ReliantHA cluster:
• In the TopCluster window menu, click Delete, then select the UNIX Systems
option.
A window appears, listing the nodes that are currently configured.
If the node is included in a UnixWare 7 ReliantHA cluster:
• In the TopCluster window menu, click Edit, then select the Clusters option.
A window appears, listing the clusters that are currently configured.
• Select the cluster that contains the CP_UNIXx node you want to change and
click OK.
A window appears, showing the systems contained in the cluster.
• In the cluster window menu, click Delete, then select the UNIX Systems
option.
