Customizing the Site
Customer personnel at the site perform these additional tasks:
• Use Integration Expert (formerly known as PathMate) to configure other software (for
example, CMS 1100) (16.2)
• Use Integration Expert to create and populate the IX Network Identity Repository
(16.3)
• Install optional IOE products (16.4)
• Customize SPO Basic Edition configurations with site-specific names (16.5)
• Test TCP/IP communications (16.6)
In addition, you can optionally do any of the following:
• Install optional UnixWare software products (if applicable) (16.7).
• Repartition the UnixWare node (16.8).
• Configure a resilient 2200 node partition (16.9).
You can also perform any other system configuration or tuning tasks not described in this
guide. For example, you can tune or regenerate the Exec using procedures in the Exec
Installation and Configuration Guide.
16.1. About Using Integration Expert
The first task following hardware RFU is normally the configuration of other software.
Integration Expert is the application that helps you do this. Before you can use Integration
Expert, however, you must first install, on a 2200 node, a CMS 1100 configuration that
includes at least one TCP/IP path to the node for communication with Integration Expert
(14.5.2).
After establishing an appropriate CMS 1100 configuration, you can use Integration Expert
to
• Further customize CMS 1100 (16.2)
• Create and populate the IX Network Identity Repository (16.3) (applicable only if
integrating SPO Basic Edition with CA Unicenter TNG).
• Configure other products such as
− TransIT Open/OLTP (OLTP-TM2200)
− Open Programming Environment (OPE)
