5. Press Enter (transmit) to accept the default. You are prompted to verify that the
unlabeled tape you mounted is the correct reel.

The tape is installed when the following message appears:
INSPKG FIN
Continue with subsection 14.4.
14.4. Installing DSPER
At this time, it is recommended that the Diagnostic Software Peripheral Equipment
Routines (DSPER) tape be installed.
These are the steps:
1. Enter the following command at the system console:
ST INSTALLPKG
A run (run-id INSPKG) starts and the following messages appear:
INSPKG START
n Install from , DISK, or RSS?
n
2. Press Enter to use the tape default. You are prompted to enter the reel number.
n INSPKG*Enter reel number
n ,TJ,type
3. Because the tape is unlabeled, you can enter any reel number (for example, DSPER).
Also enter the parameters to indicate that the tape is to be assigned as a temporary
unlabeled file (TJ) and to indicate the type of the cartridge device on which the tape
is to be mounted (for example, HICL or HIC51).
Following that entry, the INSPKG run assigns the tape, and you are prompted to verify
that the unlabeled tape you mounted is the correct reel.

4. Type the reel ID you entered in step 3 and press Enter.
The INSPKG run installs DSPER (and, incidentally, DPREP1100) and displays a
message giving the package and level. Installation is complete when the following
message appears:
