Configuring Intel Nodes for Monitoring by SPO
c. Enter unisys12, the default installation password.
The UnixWare root prompt (#) appears.
3. Type the following command and press Enter to install and start the script that
redirects console output:
sh /usr/lbin/CP_urm.inst
Messages appear and you are prompted to enter the IP address of the SPO server.
You must be root to execute this script.
This script installs the SPO/HMP UNIX Resource Monitor agent,
and configures the console re-direction to port com1.
Please enter the SPO system IP Address.
IP Addresses are written as four decimal integers,
separated by decimal points and no spaces (e.g. 128.10.2.70).

4. Enter the SPO server IP address from Table 2–2. A prompt asks for the SPO server
name.
Please enter the SPO Server node name.
This is typically the name returned when the uname -n
command is entered on the SPO Server.

5. Enter the SPO server name from Table 2–2. A message indicates that the system name
and IP address of the SPO server are being added to the hosts file at the UnixWare
node.
Adding the following line to /etc/hosts:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx name SPO_Server # SPO
That message is followed by a prompt for the SPO Basic Edition representation to be
used to identify the UnixWare node.
SPO/HMP Console monitors up to four UNIX based systems. These
systems are represented with the following names:
1) CP_UNIX1
2) CP_UNIX2
3) CP_UNIX3
4) CP_UNIX4
Please select the SPO representation for this system:
6. Type the number (or the name if you wish) of the UnixWare node being configured,
then press Enter.
