12.6. Exiting from the Single Point Configuration
Routine
Exit from the Single Point Configuration routine as follows:
1. On the Configuration Routine main menu bar, click File, then select Exit from the
drop-down menu that appears.
If you have not previously saved changes to the selected configuration, a dialogue
window asks whether you want to save the changes you made.
2. Click Yes.
A dialogue window asks whether you want to perform configuration verification.
3. Click Yes.
When configuration verification is done, a dialogue window asks whether you would
like to verify network connectivity.
4. Click Yes.
A message indicates that network connectivity has been verified.
5. Click Continue.
The following prompt appears in a window:
Quit Single Point Configuration Routine?
OK CANCEL
6. Click OK.
A Goodbye window appears.
7. Click Press to End Session.
8. Click OK to quit the session.
Continue with 12.7.
12.7. Starting Normal SPO Console Operations
To start normal operations of SPO Basic Edition, you must first log on as the operator.
Follow these steps:
1. At the SPO workstation, in the UnixWare logon screen
a. Type spoper (the SPO operator user-id).
b. Press Enter to advance to the password field.
c. Type unisys1234 (the default installation password) and press Enter.
You are prompted to select a Single Point configuration.
