Installing and Configuring SPO Workstation Software 5. Copy the contents of the CD-ROM to the spi-pi folder as follows: a. Click once on the CD-ROM icon (spohmp6_1) in the folders pane. The contents of the CD-ROM are displayed in the right-hand pane. b. Press Ctrl-A to highlight all of the files and folders on the CD-ROM. c. Press Ctrl-C. The highlighted materials are marked to be copied. d. Click the spo-pi folder in the left-hand pane. e. Press Ctrl-V The material is copied from the CD-ROM to the spo-pi folder. 6. Remove the CD-ROM from the drive. 7. Install the Single Point Operations Product Information as follows: a. Double-click the Setup icon in the right-hand pane of the Windows Explorer window. The SPO HMP Console Product Documentation CD-ROM Setup window appears. b. Click Adobe Acrobat Reader with Search. An informational window appears. c. Click OK. The Acrobat Reader Setup launches. d. Click Next. The Choose Destination Location window appears. e. Click Next. The Acrobat Reader installation continues. f. Click OK. The installation is complete. g. Click OK. You return to the SPO HMP Console Product Documentation window. h. Click Unisys CDLib Manager. A Welcome window appears. i. Click Next. A User Information window appears. j. Click Next. Close Windows Explorer and any windows created by the setup program. Continue by changing the default Windows password (11.14.3); then proceed to Section 12. 11.15. Logging On to the Windows Workstation This section describes how to log on to Windows 2000 and Windows NT and how to change the default password for either Windows 2000 or Windows NT. 11.15.1. Logging On to the Windows 2000 (Professional) Workstation as the Administrator Whenever you restart or power on the SPO workstation during installation, if the workstation is running Windows 2000, the Log On to Windows 2000 window appears. Take the following steps to log on: Notes: • The logon information is case-sensitive. • If the SPO workstation is part of a domain, you must also enter a domain name. 1. In the logon window, verify that the name in the user-name text box is administrator. If it is not, enter administrator (deleting any existing user name). 2. In the password text box, enter administrator (the default installation password), unless you have already changed the password from the default. In that case, enter the site-specific password. 3. Click OK. The Welcome to Windows 2000 screen appears on the desktop. 11.15.2. Logging On to the Windows NT Workstation as the Administrator Whenever you restart or power on the SPO workstation during installation, if the workstation is running Windows NT, the Windows NT logo appears and you are prompted to press Ctrl-Alt-Del to log on.
