b. Click Test to ensure that the default settings work.
A message box indicates that a test will be performed with the video mode
selected.
c. Click OK to proceed.
A color test pattern briefly appears followed by a message box asking whether you
saw the test pattern properly.
d. Click Yes to proceed.
A message box says to click OK to save the settings.
e. Click OK to save the display properties settings.
You are returned to the display properties screen.
f. Click OK to proceed.

11.8. Installing SPO Display Software on the
Windows NT Workstation
SPO display software includes SCO XVision, ControlIT (a product of Computer
Associates), and Winsock RSHD/NT.
Take these steps to install the SPO display software on the SPO workstation:
1. Install and configure XVision (11.7.1)
2. Install ControlIT (11.7.2).
3. Install Winsock RSHD/NT (11.7.3)
After you finish installing the display software, you will skip to 11.13 and continue by
installing SPO product information.
11.8.1. Installing and Configuring XVision on the Windows NT
Workstation
XVision is an X terminal emulator that runs on the SPO workstation. XVision allows the
SPO workstation to display SPO Basic Edition screens for monitoring and controlling
ClearPath IX server components.
Install and configure XVision on the SPO workstation as follows:
1. If you are not currently logged on, power on or restart the SPO workstation and log on
(11.14.2).
2. Insert the CD-ROM labeled “SCO Vision 2K” into the drive unit.
Note: If autoinsert notification is configured in Windows NT, the setup program
may start, and the Welcome screen appears automatically, in which case
you can proceed to step 7.
