Note: If the database already exists on the console, riu asks whether you want to
overwrite it. Answer Y if this is replacing an older version that you do not
want to save. Answer N if you have modified an older version of hmp-ix22 and
want to save it. If you enter Y and later change your mind, you can use
rirestore to put back the previous version as described in the Single Point
Operations Console/Enterprise Server Edition Administration and Configuration
Guide.
Repeat this procedure for each OS 2200 system console. Then continue with 10.14.2.
10.14.2. Activating the SPO AMS Database at the 2200 System
Consoles
To activate the hmp-ix22 AMS database, perform the following at each 2200 system
console:
1. On the system console, press F3 to activate the Utilities menu (Figure 10–2).
2. Select Optional Features and press Enter.
A list of utilities appears, similar to the list in the right-hand panel of Figure 10–2.
3. Select AMS Utility and press Enter. An Execute box appears.
4. Press Enter. The AMS Utility window appears.
5. At the command prompt, enter the following command:
activate hmp-ix22
A response indicating that the database will be activated appears.
I0007: Database "hmp-ix22" will be activated.
6. At the command prompt, enter exit to exit the AMS Utility session.
Continue with 10.14.3.
10.14.3. Changing the Start-Up Session to Systems Operations at
the System Consoles
The start-up session for each system console determines which session is displayed when
the replicated console is opened from the SPO Basic Edition. Change the start-up session
to the Systems Operations session for each system console with the following steps:
1. On the system console, press F3 to activate the Utilities menu.
2. Select Configuration: Dynamic and press Enter. A list of change options appears.
3. Select both options and press Enter. Another list of options appears (Figure 10–6).
