Installing SPO Basic Edition and Related Software The entry appears in the /etc/hosts Configuration. Repeat steps 8(a) through 8(c) for each additional console, workstation, and Intel node. 9. To modify an entry, do the following: a. Click the entry to highlight it, then click the Modify button. A Modify Entry window appears. b. Change the fields as needed. c. Click OK. Repeat steps a through c as needed. 10. To delete an entry, do the following: a. Click the entry to highlight it. b. Click the Delete button. 11. Click OK to close the /etc/hosts Configuration window. 12. Click the Host menu and select Exit from the pull-down menu to close the Network Client Manager window. 13. Click the file menu and select Exit from the pull-down menu to close the System Administration window. 14. If you changed the node name of the SPO server, enter the following commands to rebuild the kernel and reboot the system: /etc/conf/bin/idbuild init 6 Continue with the steps in 10.2.4. 10.3.4. Changing the Date and Time Zone Follow these steps to change the date and time zone. 1. If you are not already logged on, log on in graphical mode (10.15.2). 2. Open the SCO Admin window. 3. Scroll to the System folder and double-click. 4. Double-click System Time Manager. 5. Click Host. 6. Click Change Time Zone. 7. Select the appropriate country and time zone and click OK. 8. After reading the time zone change message, click OK. 9. Click Host. 10. Click Set Time. 11. Enter the correct time and date. Click OK. 10–6 Version 009B (Web Only) 7850 5104–009

Click Exit. 15. In the SCO Admin window, click File and then Exit. Continue by following the procedure in 10.12 to create a 2200-console hosts-file diskette. 10.4. Installing UnixWare 7.1.1 on the SPO Server If you are required to install the UnixWare operating system, enter the information shown in Table 10–2 in response to disk slicing prompting messages.
