5. Click Add.
6. Enter License Info and click the License button.
7. Click OK.
8. When you have finished entering licenses, click Host, then click Exit.
10.3.2. Changing the Host Name
Follow these steps to change the host name, if needed.
1. Open the console terminal window by clicking the dtterm icon in the upper left-hand
corner.
2. Type setuname -n newsystemname and press Enter.
3. Type uname -a to verify the new system name.
10.3.3. Modifying the Hosts File
If the operating system was preinstalled, a hosts file with default names and addresses is
on the SPO server. To add, change, or remove names and addresses, follow the steps
below.
Note: If you changed the name of the SPO server, you must add an entry for the new
name and address, even if you did not change the address.
1. Log on to the system as root from the graphical logon screen (10.15.2).
2. If the terminal window appears as an icon, double-click the icon to restore it.
3. At the prompt (#), enter the following command:
scoadmin
A system administration window appears.
4. Scroll down until you see the Networking folder.
5. Double-click the Networking folder to expand it.
6. Double-click the Client Manager.
A Network Client Manager window appears.
7. Double-Click the /etc/hosts file entry in the Configured Network Client Services box.
An /etc/hosts Configuration window appears.
8. To add an entry for the SPO server, a 2200 system console, a SPO workstation, or a
monitored Intel node, do the following:
a. Click the Add button.
A window labeled Add new entry appears.
b. Enter the IP address and host name as identified in Table 2–2. The Comment field
is optional.
c. Click OK.
