Section 10 Installing SPO Basic Edition and Related Software This section tells how to install SPO Basic Edition and related software on the SPO server. If SPO Basic Edition and related software are not preinstalled, the required procedures take about 4 hours. If the software is preinstalled, the remaining procedures take about 1 hour. The information in this section applies to the following configuration: Computer Components Unisys Styles ES2024R UnixWare 7.1.1 operating system SPO Basic Edition, Level 6.1 CP SMS4030-SPO (for consolidated configuration) SMS4031-SPO (for legacy configuration) Table 10–1 lists media and information needed for the various installation scenarios: • Installation with preinstalled software • Full installation • Steps you need to take in either instance Obtain that information or media before beginning. 7850 5104–009 Version 009B (Web Only) 10–1
