5. Press Enter to accept the default (all packages) and continue.
A UnixWare Open Server Development Kit Installation, Package Selection window
appears.
6. For this window and the next window, do the following for each package listed:
a. Tab to the package.
b. Use the right-arrow key to change the selection to Yes, to install the package.
7. Tab to Apply and press Enter.
A Package Installation Options screen appears.
8. Tab to Apply and press Enter.
The software packages are loaded. (This takes about 30 minutes.) Then the licensing
window appears.
9. Enter the license number, license code, and other license data from the information
preprinted on the license form.
If you do not have a license, tab to Apply and press Enter. At the No Valid License
window, press Enter. (If a license is obtained later, it can be installed using the
License Manager in SCO Admin.)
Note: All license information is case-sensitive.
10. Tab to Apply and press Enter.
An Installation Results screen appears.
11. Press Enter.
A second Results screen appears.
12. Press Enter.
13. Type q and press Enter to quit.
Next, reload the UW7.1.1 update:
1. Insert the CD-ROM 2 of 3.
2. Open the console window and enter
pkgadd -d cdrom1 update711
3. Type go and press Enter.
A Disk Space Usage window appears.
4. Press Enter again.
5. Enter the following command to reboot the system, so that all changes can take effect:
shutdown -y -g0 -i6
Rebooting takes several minutes, because the kernel is being rebuilt in the
background.
Continue by installing the drivers updates (8.4.3).
