6. Select the zone, locale, and keyboard appropriate for the site, and press F10 to apply
your selections.
The following are default selections for a U. S. installation:
Zone America (Latin - 1)
Locale C (English)
Keyboard United States
You are prompted for licensing information.
7. Enter the license number, license code, and other license data from the information
preprinted on the installation package, and press F10 to apply.
Note: All licensing information is case-sensitive.
You are prompted with the option to load hardware configuration information from
the HBA diskette.
8. Remove the boot diskette from the drive.
9. Insert the host bus adapter diskette (labeled “Unisys UnixWare 7.x.x Operating System
PSK/UNX71-PSK Host Bus Adapter (HBA)”) into the drive.
10. Press F10.
After the diskette is loaded, you are prompted to install additional HBA diskettes.
11. Remove the HBA diskette from the drive.
12. Select Proceed with Installation and press F10.
The Device Configuration Utility (DCU) window appears.
13. Select Do Not Enter the DCU (auto-configure drivers).
14. Press F10.
The following message appears:
Please wait while the system hardware drivers are loaded
You are prompted for the node name of the system.
15. Obtain the node name of the system from the customer. Enter the node name and
press F10.
Note: Do not enter a fully qualified node name that includes the domain. You can
enter the domain name later during network configuration.
The Select Installation Method menu appears.
16. Insert the Enterprise Edition CD-ROM 1 of 3 into the drive.
17. Select Install from CD-ROM and press F10.
The following message appears:
