Installing UnixWare 7 2. Start the DACCF utility by typing DACCF and pressing Enter: DACCF Note: If more than one DAC is installed, a list is displayed so you can select the DAC to be configured. The DACCF utility Main Menu should appear as follows: Main Menu 01. Automatic Configuration 02. New Configuration 03. View/Update Configuration 04. Rebuild 05. Initialize System Drive 06. Consistency Check 07. Tools 08. Select DAC960 09. Advanced Functions 10. Diagnostics If you get an Installation Aborted message and a list of detected drives instead of the menu, take the following steps: a. Press any key to proceed. A drive matrix appears, showing the current configuration (Figure 8–1). b. Press S to save the current configuration. A message indicates you should reboot. 3. Reboot and reload the DACCF utility. a. Reboot. b. Insert a DOS-bootable diskette. c. When the MS-DOS prompt appears, remove the diskette and insert the diskette labeled “DACCF CONFIGURATION AND UTILITIES” in drive A. 4. Change directories on the A drive by typing CD DACCFG, then press Enter. CD DACCFG 5. Start the DACCF utility by typing DACCF and pressing Enter: DACCF 6. In the DACCF utility Main Menu, use the arrow keys to select 02 (New Configuration), then press Enter. The New Configuration menu appears as follows: New Configuration 1. Define Pack 2. Use the arrow keys to select 1 (Create Pack), then press Enter. A small cursor moves to the drive matrix so you can select the drives to be included in the pack. 9. Select the drives for drive pack 1 as follows: a. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to drive 2,0 (channel 2, target ID 0). b. Press Enter to select the drive.
