Completing Windows Installation
An Enterprise License Manager window opens.
3. Click the Purchase History tab (if it is not already in front).
4. Select License, then New License from the menu bar.
5. From the Product drop-down box, select Windows Server.
6. Set the Quantity field to 25 (or, if additional licenses have been purchased, to the
appropriate number).
7. In the Comment field, type in the following:
Initial ClearPath Licenses
8. Click OK.
9. In the Per Seat Licensing window, click “I agree,” then click OK to proceed.
10. Exit License Manager by selecting License, then Exit, from the menu bar or by clicking
the upper right-hand corner X box.

7.2.3. Installing and Configuring RAID Utility Software
For an ES5044R, ES5085R, or ES2024R node, the RAID utility software to be installed is the
Global Array Manager (GAM). These are the steps for installing and configuring GAM,
using the Mylex eXtremeRAID 1100 Controller.
1. If you are not currently logged on, power on or restart the Windows NT node and log
on as administrator.
2. Insert the CD labeled "Mylex Solutions Software Kit x.xx" into the CD-ROM drive.
3. The Mylex Solutions menu appears. Click Install Global Array Manager.
A Welcome window appears.
4. Click Next.
A Select Components window appears.
5. Click Global Array Manager Client and Server for installation. Click Next.
A Choose Destination Folder window appears.
6. Accept the default and click Next.
The Installation Summary window appears.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Next again to bypass the Modify Server Configuration File setup menu.
9. Click OK to the informative message.
10. Click Next.
11. Click Finish, then remove the CD.
You can now run the Mylex Global Array Manager utility software, when desired, by
selecting Start > Programs > Mylex Global Array Manager Client Administrator. Use the
