Completing Windows Installation
6. Accept the default and click Next.
The Installation Summary window appears.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Next again to bypass the Modify Server Configuration File setup menu.
9. Click OK to the informative message.
10. Click Next.
11. Click Finish, then remove the CD. The server automatically reboots.
You can now run the Mylex Global Array Manager utility software when desired by
selecting Start > Programs > Mylex Global Array Manager Client Administrator.
Continue by installing video drivers (7.1.6).
7.1.6. Installing and Configuring Video Drivers (Full Install Only)
Notes:
• This procedure is necessary only when you perform a full Windows NT installation.
Skip this procedure if Windows NT is preloaded.
• Skip this procedure for the DR/2 node. Proceed to 7.1.7.
To enable console monitor resolution higher than VGA on an ES5044R, ES2045R, ES5085R,
or ES2024R, you must install video drivers on the Windows NT node.
Follow these steps:
1. If you are not currently logged on, power on or restart the Windows NT node and log
on as the administrator.
2. Insert the CD labeled “Unisys Supplemental Drivers and Utilities” (23389174- xxx) into
the CD-ROM.
3. Right-click on the desktop, then click Properties in the pop-up menu that appears.
A tabbed Display Properties screen appears.
4. Click the Settings tab to bring it to the front, then click Display Type.
A Display Type screen appears. The Adapter Type field shows the current adapter
type (most likely Cirrus-compatible display adapter).
5. Click Change for the Adapter Type field.
A Change Display screen appears with a list of currently available adapter models.
6. Click Have Disk.
An Install From Disk screen appears that instructs you to insert the manufacturer’s
disk in the drive unit. The A: prompt should appear in the scroll box by default.
(ES5044R only) Scroll to D:\NT40\atirage\ (where D: is the CD-ROM) and select it.
(ES2045R and ES5085R only) Scroll to D:\WINNT40\Display\cl54xx (where D: is
the CD-ROM) and select it.
