Installing Windows NT Server 4.0 (DR/2)
A screen appears to indicate that no adapter has been found or selected.
7. Enter S to manually specify the SCSI adapter.
A window for selecting an adapter appears.
8. Select adapters in that window as follows:
a. Press Enter to select the highlighted Other entry. You are prompted to insert a
diskette containing the RAID controller drivers diskette.

Manufacturer - supplied hardware support disk
into Drive A:
*Press ENTER when ready
b. Insert the following diskette containing the RAID drivers and press Enter to
continue:
Mylex Solution Software Kit 2.01 NT/NW Drivers Diskette
After a brief wait, select the Mylex driver listed in the adapter window.
c. Press Enter to select the highlighted "Mylex Disk Array Controller" entry.
A message indicates that Setup has recognized the Mylex adapter.
d. Enter S to specify an additional SCSI adapter.
The adapter window reappears.
e. Press Enter again to select the highlighted Other entry.
f. Reinsert the diskette "NT 4.0 Supplemental Drivers 01." Again there is a brief wait.
When the list of adapters appears, use the up arrow key to scroll up the list until
you highlight the following adapter:
AHA294XU2/295XU2/395XU2/AIC-789X PCI SCSI Controller (NT 4.0)
g. Press Enter to select the highlighted entry. Press Enter to continue.
You are prompted to insert disk 3 as follows:

Windows NT Server Setup Disk #3
into Drive A:
*Press ENTER when ready
9. Insert the diskette labeled “Microsoft Windows NT Server Setup Disk 3” into the drive
unit, then press Enter to continue.
The following message appears at the top of the screen, followed by a message
confirming that both adapters have been recognized.
