Logical Drives Configured Screen 11. Select RAID= in the Logical Drive 1 menu, then press Enter. A list of available RAID levels appears. 12. Select RAID level 1, then press Enter. Note: Do not change any settings in the Advanced Menu. The default parameters are acceptable for RAID level 1. 13. Select Accept, then press Enter (press Enter twice). The Logical Drives Configured window shows the configuration (Figure 5–2). The following prompt appears: Save Configuration? YES NO 14. Highlight YES, then press Enter. Also, a Logical Drives menu appears as follows: ----Logical Drives---- Logical Drive 1 18. Press the space bar to select Logical Drive 1 (if it is not already selected), then press F10 to initialize it. Note: When selected, the highlighted color switches from gray to yellow. The following prompt appears: ----Initialize Drives?---- YES NO 19. Select YES, then press Enter. A bar graph message shows progress of the initialization (takes about 15 minutes). 20. When initialization is complete, press any key to continue. The logical drives configured screen reappears. 21. Press the Esc key twice to exit. The following prompt appears: --EXIT?-- YES NO 22. Select YES, then press Enter. The following prompt appears: Configuration has changed. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot. 23. Before pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot, insert the Windows NT Setup diskette 1 and the Windows NT CD-ROM Disc 1 in the drives. 24. 17. Select Initialize, then press Enter.<br />

18. Press the space bar to select Logical Drive 1 (if it is not already selected), then press<br />

Windows NT CD-ROM Disc 1 in the drives.<br />

24. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot.<br />
