Windows NT Server Setup
====================
The list below shows existing partitions and spaces available for
creating new partitions.
Use the UP and DOWN ARROW keys to move the highlight to an item
in the list.
To install Windows NT on the highlighted partition
or unpartitioned space, press ENTER.
To create a partition in the unpartitioned space, press C.
To delete the highlighted partition, press D.

16. Use the arrow key to highlight “Unpartitioned space,” then press C to create a new
partition. You are prompted to enter the size of the partition to be created.
17. Press Backspace to clear the field, type 2048, then press Enter. The screen now
shows a new partition with unformatted space of 2047 MB.
18. Select the new, unformatted partition, then press Enter.
A message asks you to select a file system for the partition.
Format the partition using the FAT file system
Format the partition using the NTFS file system
19. Use the up and down arrow keys to select the NT file system (NTFS), then press Enter.
A message indicates that the disk is being formatted. After format finishes, a message
appears asking for the directory in which to install Windows NT.
20. Press Enter to accept the default directory (WINNT).
A message asks whether you want an exhaustive examination of the hard drives.
21. Press Enter to perform an exhaustive examination of the hard disk.
The examination takes a few seconds. Then the following message appears:

22. Insert the diskette containing the RAID drivers labeled “Mylex Solutions Software Kit
x.xx …," then press Enter to continue.
