PROTOCOL FOR THE ENTRY OF TRAVELLERS TO ST. VINCENT AND 

THE GRENADINES VIA VESSEL 

AIM: The safe entry of vessels into St. Vincent and the Grenadines in a manner that reduces the risk 

of the importation and subsequent transmission of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadine s. 

OBJECTIVES: 

1. To establish the risk of arriving vessels and passengers introducing new COVID-19 to SVG; 

2. To minimize the exposure of residents of SVG to newCOVID-19; 

3. Early identification of potential exposure to new COVID-19, and 

4. Early containment of new COVID-19. 

PROCEDURE PRE-ARRIVAL: 

1. The POE's currently accessible are Blue Lagoon, Wallilabou, Bequia, Union, 

Canouan and Port Kingstown. 

2. The Approved Quarantine Areas for mooring on arrival are at a) Young Island Cut, 

St Vincent, b) North Admiralty Bay, Bequia, c) Clifton, Union Island and d) 

Canouan Marina. 

ENTERING BY YACHT 

3. All arriving yachts must request permission for entry at least five (5) days in advance, 

by e-mail to SVG Arrivals at svgarrivals@gmail.com, and submit a Request for Entry 

and Quarantine Form and vaccine certificates which will be validated pre arrival. 

4. At least 24 hours before arrival, send a) pre - entry negative PCR test results, b) 

completed Sail Clear (www.sailclear.com) document and c) estimated time of arrival to 

svgarrivals@gmail.com. 

5. Complete a Pre-Arrival Form https://stv.servicedx.com/travelform for each passenger.

TWENTY-SIX (26) NEW CASES 

TWO (2) DEATHS 

Eight (8) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from seventy (70) samples collected on 

Thursday December 16 th , 2021, resulting in a positivity of 11.4%. Ten (10) new rapid antigen 

positive results were reported from flu clinics on December 16 th , 2021. 

Eleven (11) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from seventy-nine (79) samples collected 

on Friday December 17 th , 2021, resulting in a positivity 13.9%. Seven (7) new rapid antigen 


Seven (7) new COVID-19 positive case was reported from one hundred and two (102) samples 

collected on Saturday December 18 th , 2021, resulting in a positivity 6.9%. Seven (7) new rapid 

antigen positive results were reported from flu clinics on December 18 th , 2021. 

No new COVID-19 positive case was reported from twenty-three (23) samples collected on 

Sunday December 19 th , 2021. Two (2) new rapid antigen positive results were reported from flu 

clinics on December 19 th , 2021. 

HOSPITAL ADMISSIONS 

There are currently two (2) patients admitted for COVID-19 at the Argyle Isolation Facility. One 

(1) patient is fully vaccinated, and the other patient is unvaccinated. Ten (10) patients are admitted 

to the COVID-19 ward at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital. One (1) patient is fully vaccinated 

and nine (9) are unvaccinated.

Fifty-three (53) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from one hundred and eighty (180) 

samples collected on Wednesday November 10 th , 2021, resulting in a positivity of 29.4%. Four

Thirty-seven (37) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from one hundred and seventyeight 

(178) samples collected on Tuesday November 9 th , 2021, resulting in a positivity of 20.8%. 





Eleven (11) patients are unvaccinated, and one (1) patient is partially vaccinated. Seventeen (17) 

patients are admitted to the COVID-19 wards at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital. Fifteen (15) 

patients are unvaccinated and two (2) are partially vaccinated. 


A 59-year-old male who tested positive for COVID-19 on October 28 th , 2021, died on November 

6 th , 2021, of COVID-19 pneumonia. The deceased was unvaccinated. A 90-year-oldfemale who 

tested positive for COVID-19 died on November 10 th , 2021, of COVID-19 pneumonia. The 

deceased was partially vaccinated and had underlying conditions. Their deaths bring the death 

toll from COVID-19 to seventy-one (71). 


No new recoveries were noted over the reporting period. One thousand one hundred and sixtyone 

(1161) cases are currently active and seventy-one (71) persons with COVID-19 have died. 

Five thousand two hundred and four (5204) cases of COVID-19 and three thousand nine hundred

ONE (1) DEATH 

Thirteen (13) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from seventy-four (74) samples 

collected on Saturday October 30 th , 2021, resulting in a positivity of 17.6%. Twelve (12) new rapid 

antigen positive results were reported from flu clinics on October 30 th , 2021. 

Four (4) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from seventeen (17) samples collected on 

Sunday October 31 st , 2021, resulting in a positivity of 23.5%. No new rapid antigen positive results 

were reported from flu clinics on October 31 st , 2021. 


There are currently seven (7) patients admitted for COVID-19 at the Argyle Isolation Facility. All 

are unvaccinated. Twenty-five (25) patients are admitted to the COVID-19 wards at the Milton 

Cato Memorial Hospital. Twenty-two (22) patients are unvaccinated, two (2) patients are partially 

vaccinated and one (1) patient is fully vaccinated. 


A 65-year-old male who tested positive for COVID-19 on October 20 th , 2021, died on November 

1 st , 2021. The deceased was unvaccinated. His death brings the death toll from COVID-19 to sixtynine 

(69). 


Eight hundred and six (806) new recoveries were noted over the reporting period. One thousand 

and twenty-nine (1029) cases are currently active and sixty-nine (69) persons with COVID-19 

have died. Five thousand and twelve (5012) cases of COVID-19 and three thousand nine hundred 



and fourteen (3914) recoveries have been recorded in St. Vincent and the Grenadines since March 

2020.
