Langaran Festival
Filipinos love celebrating, and one of
the most popular ways of doing this is
the advent of a festival, Plaridel is no
exception with the Langaran festival
held in February each year, and is
a celebration of the town itself and
its original name. Plaridel became a
municipality in 1907 and its original
name was Langaan, after the river
which drains along its shorelines.
