swimming, diving, and boat hopping would occur. October
saw weekly outings from the Easy Sailing Group, we had the
privilege of joining the October 18th event as a guest of our
neighbors on Kiwi Flyer.
A new and wonderful
event has popped up
to include a pioneer
group, the Mother’s
and Kid’s Picnics.
Skipping over the water on
the “Flyer” in a thrilling way,
we then met up with the
other boats anchored off
one of the many stunning
white sandy beaches of
Puerto Galera.
The report of the outing by the organizer and stalwart sailor,
John Quirk: “Participating today were: the immortal KARIS –
Colin and crew plus guest, the sparkling KIWI FLYER – John
& Leanne with Brian-Donna-Pream of infamous FURTHER
fame, the royally inspired Tudor Rose – Clive, Darius and the
newlywed Greg aboard and the dreaded COLUMBUS – usual
gang of suspects aboard.
The spirit will continue with planned cruises to Anilao, the
historical Marinduque, and eventually on to Palawan as the
restrictions are removed.
A new and wonderful event has popped up to include a
pioneer group, the Mother’s and Kid’s Picnics. The boats
will take the young tikes and Moms first to the caves east of
Long Beach. Older kids may be introduced to shallow diving
with a hookah, Lauren reports.
Also, the Easy Dive Group plans several combination sailing
and dive expeditions to local waters, directed by the newly
awarded PADI Dive Master, Lauren of the Columbus crew to
Anilao and Sombrero Islands.
The routes for all events are now made available by Colin
from the noble Karis, Colin will issue the usual NAVIONICS
