Coming into the weekend the wider market always seems to regressmy 

thoughts are that market makers have their bots running in 

cycles (manipulating) to clear out the longs. Inevitable, this has a 

ripple affect across the whole space. Crypto, defi, NFT, you name it. 

If there is something I have learnt from 2017 until now it is this - 

market go UP, market go DOWN. What would happen on a domestic 

stock exchange in the course of 1-3 years happend in the crypto 

space by the month!

Take this view of the Crypto Total Marketcap as a point. This is 

data from May 2021 until today. May - July 2021 there was a 50% 

pull back. Sept saw a 23% pull back and now we are in Nov and the 

marketcap is looking shaky. Sending ripples across the space. 

The blue bottom line is the support line from Jan 2021. It touched 

in Jluy 2021. We are due to touch a 2nd time. Will it happen soon? 

I have a gut feeling that it will, bringing the market cap close to 1 

trillion from the high of 1.8 trillion at the beginning on Nov 2021. 

Is this cause for panic? 

Honestly? Diamond hands!

Banksy's NFT, Love in the 

Air, to be Fractionalized

Love is in the Air has become a popular symbol of the power of love over hate.

The famous street art “Love Is in the Air” is coming to the NFT 

world. As the special Banksy NFT will be available from January 

10.

Particle and Banksy NFT 

The NFT company – Particle, 

intends to fractionalize the 

ownership of traditional artworks. 

And the innovative idea is 

executed by converting the 

artworks into sets of NFTs called 

Particles. 

Recently, the company received 

$15 million in seed funding from 

a venture capital firm. 

In fact, just after acquiring the 

funding, Particle revealed that its 

first addition is Banksy NFT, Love 

Is in the Air (2005). Additionally, 

the art form will be segmented 

into 10,000 NFT drops. With 

each NFT representing a unique 

section of the painting. 

Whereas the physical version of 

Love Is in the Air will transfer over 

to Particle Foundation. Which 

is the non-profit branch of the 

company and works to maintain 

and preserve the traditional art 

forms. So, the collectors can see 

the pieces and rightfully claim to 

own them. 

The Banksy NFT sale 

The initial offering of the Banksy 

NFT collection will begin from 

January 10 till January 14. Also, 

the collectors will get a chance 

to purchase a “Particle” for about 

$1,500. After the offering, 

the NFTs will enter various 

NFT marketplaces but no 

information about their price is 

available yet. 

Besides, the Royalties received 

in the resale of each NFT will 

be used to fund the Particle 

Foundation. On top of that, the 

foundation will retain 1 per cent 

of the sold NFTs. 

However, investors will have the 

responsibility of marketing and 

selling their asset in the NFT 

market. 

Furthermore, both the Particle 

and Particle Foundation plans to 

create a type of meta museum 

for the future. Overall, it will 

be a fusion of traditional art 

institutions and the digital NFT 

market.

‘ETHEREUM KILLER’ JUST MONTHS 

AFTER ITS INCEPTION. HOWEVER, ITS 

16,000% SURGE SINCE THE BEGINNING 

OF 2021 IS WHAT LEFT INVESTORS 

IN AWE. AFTER GAINING ITS NAME 

AMONG DEFI, NFT, AND GAMING 

SECTORS AND MORE INSTITUTIONAL 

INVESTORS, SOLANA PRICE IS ALL SET 

TO GO AFTER ITS NEXT RESISTANCE, 

US$300. 

Solana is an open-source blockchain platform that specializes 

in smart contract functionality and also hosts decentralized 

applications (DApps). Solana’s price was at US$1.51 at the 

beginning of the year with a total market capitalization of 

US$86 million. Over the year, its value has drastically surged, 

placing SOL’s price at US$260 and market capitalization at 

US$70 million. After hitting a record high in November, Solana 

has emerged as the fifth-largest cryptocurrency. However, 

various factors are contributing to this growth. One of the 

reasons is crypto investors’ search for a true ‘Ethereum Killer’. 

Although Ethereum 2.0 is all set to hit the market in 2022 with 

a less energy-consuming model and better transaction speed,

Grayscale Solana Trust, a Big 

Sweep for Investors 

On the first day of December, 

Solana’s price surged by 

9%, thanks to Grayscale 

Solana Trust announcement. 

Grayscale Investment, the 

leading digital asset manager 

in the market, announced the launch of Grayscale Solana 

Trust, which will offer investors a new way to gain exposure to 

the digital token. 

Already, investors who are interested in smart contracts are 

flocking to Solana after the realization that the platform is 

providing much cheaper services. With Grayscale Solana 

Trust opening a new venture for investors with less risk, the 

cryptocurrency price is expected to go up further. 

‘Less Energy Consumption’ of Solana 

Cryptocurrency investors are already aware that Solana 

consumes very little energy compared to its counterparts. But 


how much does the ‘less’ count for was recently explained 

by the platform. As per its latest Energy Use Report, Solana 

claimed that SOL transactions consume lesser energy than 

two Google searches. Approximately, two Google searches 

swallow 2,160 Joules of power while Solana only consumes 

1,837 Joules. 

This energy consumption report could be a massive booster 

for Solana as the world is looking for a greener future. While 

bitcoin transactions cost 6,995,592,000 Joules of energy 

and Ethereum, 692,820,000 Joules, Solana’s less than 2,000 

seems impressive. 

Solana is Gearing Up its Gaming Presence 

At the beginning of November, Solana has announced its 

participation in a new US$100 million fund to boost blockchain 

gaming. After the announcement, Solana price went up by 

17%, placing the cryptocurrency at the fourth spot in the top 

10 list. Since the beginning of November, SOL has managed 

to continue on an upward trajectory. Although the US$526 

million market value gap between Solana and Ethereum is 

huge, the altcoin has the potential to flip ETHER if it continues 

the ‘to the moon’ path in 2022. 

Can Solana Breach US$300 Resistance Before 2022? 

At the time of writing, Solana’s price was US$223.87. But 

before debating on the US$300 mark, its major task would 

be to reclaim its November record high of US$260. Towards 

the end of November, the cryptocurrency’s volume cane 

down to as low as 1.4 billion. Fortunately, it has gone up to 

three-fold in the next few days. Although everything seems 

positive for Solana to breach any value in the coming days, 

it should maintain and hold above US$220 to continue the 

bullish momentum. This stability will help the crypto gain 

value before 2022. However, it is not clear whether SOL could 

breach the US$300 mark before 2022 but it has the potential 

to do so next year.

Space GOATs on Acid is the new project from artist Ed Merlin Murray 

working with an incredible team of old and extremely intelligent 

friends to release a NFT collection on the Solana Blockchain. 

Although there has been previous success working on ETH, Murray 

and the team are diversifying into SOL to bring their psychedelic and 

esoteric visions to a new set of collectors. 

The collection is still deeply rooted in Murray’s own personal 

strengths, using paper and ink hand drawn illustrations initially before 

digital colouring, as the basis of the entire project. However, Murray 

is utilising his own interplanetary travelling exploits along with his 

skills as a visionary artist to create a collection that showcases the 

psychedelic, the kaleidoscopic and mind — altering world that Murray 

can so effortlessly recreate on paper. Combined with an interesting 

lore that offers a ‘fresh perspective on the theory of reality’, Space

GOATs certainly brings a consciousness-expanding collection to the 

SOL chain. 

Holders are ultimately aiming to collect the NFTs which hold a unique 

molecule trait that, when combined with 3 other different molecules, 

will unlock limited edition NFTs pertaining to the combination of 

molecules they have managed to gather. Murray and team are also 

using this project as an access pass to future drops from other artists 

in the NFT world. In previous projects too, one of Murray’s goals is to 

bring more traditional artists to the NFT world. A long term goal of 

the project is to be able to create a system where artists from more 

traditional backgrounds can easily create NFT collections and break 

into the amazing NFT community. 

Although the team is small, four in total, they have been friends for 

over 15 years which brings a tight knit and excellent collaborative 

effort to the entire project. The dev team have worked for a range of 

blue chip companies over the years and bring a wealth of experience 

and creativity to the project. The website on its own takes the viewer 

on a trip without the need for a NFT

Solajump, the world’s first play-to-win short game based on 

Solana blockchain, is thrilled to bring back the fun of classic 

short games. Developed by Kokeshi Academy Nerd 148 

Studios, it uses NFTs to revolutionize the world of short gaming 

with its play-to-win model. 

Short games are fun, easy to play, and easy to get into. However, 

game designers who came up with Pong, Tetris, Arkanoid, 

Pac-Man and other major hits had to make do with the limited 

power of computers in the past. Computing power is no longer 

an issue for players, unlocking the doors to a richer and more 

engaging experience. 

Visually appealing and fun to play, Solajump draws on the key 

principles of Doodle Jump. The player’s objective is to jump 

higher and higher by bouncing off platforms randomly placed in 

the 2D space. The further you progress, the rarer the platforms 

become, and therefore, the higher the risk of a game over. 

With Solajump, the player’s purpose is not only to achieve the 

highest score but also to win. Players can access the game by 

owning a Solajumper NFT, which allows them to compete in 

tournaments that offer significant rewards for winners. 

The initial minting of 10,000 algorithmically generated 

Solajumper NFTs will take place starting from December. To 

participate, players must get one of the 10,000 Solajumper 

NFTs, each priced at 1 SOL, during December. 

Owning the NFT entitles players to many perks and bonuses 

such as 10 chances to reach first place in the Genesis 

tournament. At the end, players with the best scores will win 

five-figure rewards, with the ultimate winner bagging more

choose to trade their NFTs on the secondary market or keep it 

and participate in the monthly tournaments.

NERD148 and KOKESHI ACADEMY the idea is to provide the 

defi ecosysteme with emerging tools for NFT’s and play to earn. 

Solajump is the beginning of an era for mini arcade games 

connected with NFTs”, said Jeff Meguir, CEO of SolaJump. 

The monthly tournaments will start from January 2022, where 

the best players will share a prize pool worth 100 SOL. Kokeshi 

Academy Studios will launch the “Jump Coin” in February 

2022 to allow players to bet in private tournaments and the 

PVP mode, which will launch in March 2022. That will make it 

possible for players to win NFTs, Jump Coins, and many other 

prizes by beating the score of their direct opponent. 

According to the developers, 20% of the funds raised during the 

minting will go into the “Genesis tournament” prize pool. The 

amount will be added to the current initial prize pool of 2000 

SOL. Another 20% of the minting amount will be allocated for 

all the monthly tournaments held throughout the year. Each 

year, new tournaments and NFT mintings will be held to keep 

expanding the prize pool. 

Kokeshi Academy Studios is also preparing to launch a Solanabased 

arcade game incubator in the second half of 2022.
