SPANISH LEVEL I<br />

Spanish is the second most-used language in the United States <strong>and</strong> the most practical foreign<br />
language for Americans to learn. During this course, you will learn basic sentences, adjectives,<br />
vocabulary, conjugation, rules <strong>of</strong> the verbs ser <strong>and</strong> estar (to be), <strong>and</strong> the present form <strong>of</strong> the<br />
regular verbs. Students will also be exposed to different exercises <strong>and</strong> drills that will help them<br />
improve their communication skills. This course is ideal for beginners, those who have forgotten<br />
what they learned in school, businesspeople, or those seeking personal enrichment.<br />

SPANISH LEVEL II<br />
Taught by: Carmen Nunez<br />
Prerequisite: Students should have taken Spanish Level I or have equivalent knowledge.<br />
Continue your Spanish language skills. We will begin with a review <strong>of</strong> basic language skills,<br />
regular <strong>and</strong> irregular verbs. We will learn the verb GUSTAR (to like something or like doing<br />
something). We will also learn present progressive tense, <strong>and</strong> irregular verbs in the present<br />
tense. We will focus on places <strong>and</strong> activities, food <strong>and</strong> beverage, colors <strong>and</strong> hobbies.<br />
