Zoom overview
Most of our courses that have scheduled meetings with instructors will meet via Zoom. You can access
Zoom from your internet browser or by downloading the free app to your laptop, desktop, tablet, or
smartphone.
You’ll be sent the link for your class(es) once you’ve registered.
For a successful online learning experience, make sure you have the following:
• Video capability—If your computer/device does not have a built-in camera, then we recommend
you purchase a webcam.
• Headset/headphones
• Access to the Zoom app on your computer/device—Zoom can be downloaded from its website
or from your app store.

New to Zoom? Not comfortable learning online? Register to attend a Learning on Zoom Student Orientation
Session. We have two sessions available for the spring 2022 semester. To register, click on
your preferred date below.

Register for courses directly from this brochure! To register, click on the name of the course that you’d
like to attend. This will take you to the course page on our website where you can register and pay.
If you need assistance or have questions about registration, please contact the Office of Non-Credit
and Continuing Education at ncce@temple.edu or call 267-468-8500. We are pleased to announce
that we can now take registration payments by credit card over the phone. You can also mail a check,
made payable to Temple University, and mail it to Temple University Ambler, Non-Credit Programs
Office, 580 Meetinghouse Road, West Hall, Ambler, PA 19002.
Once you register for a course, you will be sent an email with a link to your course’s Zoom session. Be
sure to hold onto that email, as you will need access to that link for each meeting of your course.
