UNCOMMON WINE VARIETALS*<br />

What changes are happening in the wine industry today? Discover more about low-intervention<br />
techniques such as a return to traditional methods that include no pesticides, fewer additives, <strong>and</strong><br />
native yeasts for fermentation. Here’s a chance to try unique wine varietals from France, Spain,<br />
Greece, Austria, Georgia, <strong>and</strong> Herzegovina. Some are biodynamic, natural, organic, <strong>and</strong> sparkling,<br />
<strong>and</strong> some include unusual varietals virtually unknown <strong>and</strong> almost extinct. We look forward to<br />
sharing them with you.<br />

Unsure how to select a good wine? Turn the bottle around <strong>and</strong> check who imports it. This course<br />
focuses on the importers who represent top producers worldwide <strong>and</strong> wineries that craft a<br />
product embodying the best <strong>of</strong> their region <strong>and</strong> grape variety. Join us for a tasting <strong>of</strong> these special,<br />
reliable wines. This class will be held outdoors at the Ambler campus.<br />

Karamoor Estate Vineyard & Winery‒Wine Tour <strong>and</strong> Tasting Event<br />
<strong>Temple</strong> University’s <strong>Office</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Non</strong>-<strong>Credit</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Continuing</strong> <strong>Education</strong> is exploring the possibility <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fering<br />
a wine tour <strong>and</strong> wine tasting event at Karamoor Estate Vineyard & Winery located in Blue Bell, PA. If you<br />
enjoy wine <strong>and</strong> looking for a fun activity, a wine tour is an excellent form <strong>of</strong> entertainment while learning<br />
more about the process <strong>of</strong> wine making. Details <strong>of</strong> the event are still be worked out. If you are interested<br />
