INFORMATION TRAILS TO WALK & RIDE There are so many trails to explore with a walk or on your bike. We have picked just a few to highlight but check out the websites mentioned to find more. The Sugarloaf, Hallett Cove Conservation Park , Jessica Coulter Walking Trails e River Torrens Linear Park Trail e This shared-use trail follows 30km of the River Torrens from Athelstone to the Adelaide CBD, and then to the river mouth at West Beach/Henley Beach. Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail e The unique nature-based 64km trail offers the experience of isolation, serenity and natural wonders of this special part of SA, including the world famous Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Walk the Yorke - Yorke Peninsula e More than 500km of continuous shared leisure trail. Explore the coastline from Port Wakefield to Moonta Bay. Choose from short walks or multi-day walks. Pick-up the walk anywhere around the Peninsula. River Bend Heritage Trail – Tailem Bend e A loop trail along the Murray River between Tailem Bend and Wellington, this is a full day 25km of flat terrain. Moderate fitness required. A walk that can be undertaken as a whole or in sections by selective placement of cars along the route. Cycling Trails Kidman Trail - Barossa to McLaren Vale If you’re after hills, off-road paths and a real workout, this trail is for you. Trails through Willunga, Echunga, Nairne, Mt Crawford, Stockwell and Nuriootpa. Our hot tip... Travel light and take a few spare tubes; this trail is for the mountain bikes! Melrose - Southern Flinders Ranges The town of Melrose in the Mount Remarkable National Park, Southern Flinders Ranges is fast becoming a jewel in SA's crown for single track mountain biking. Spend a weekend exploring the trails of Mount Remarkable and nearby Bartagunyah. Coast To Vines Rail Trail - Fleurieu Peninsula A great fit for families and beginner cyclists as the inclines are slight at best. Starting at Marino, follow the former rail corridor to the Willunga township, taking in spectacular vineyard vistas and changing landscapes as you ride. The Riesling Trail – Clare Valley e Start at the restored Auburn railway station building, Mount Horrocks Wines. This trail was originally a railway line from Adelaide to Spalding.
