- It may not show the relationship between 2D and 3D
- During the craft, it may not easy to make the shape
perfect.
- If the hand not like a 2D model, it may affect the

This is the first sketch show what i want
to do. After i try to it, i found that the
water is not easy to show it. Therefore,
i decided not add this “water”.
I draw different direction about my work to
make sure this is what i
\ want to do. After i find a
new reference about the
heart. I re-do the heart.
I use my hand to do the
model. After that, i start
to make my work.

What is tape? How can i make a sculpture by using tape? This two
questions is what i’m thinking before start to create. I do a
research for brainstorm myself. After

i saw a sculpture made by Mark Jenkin,
i decided to use a same method to do
my work.
I chose a topic about break heart.
After do a research, i have full ideas
about my work. Therefore, i start to do
it.
This is my first time i try
to make my work. After that,
i found that this is not
too heavy and the shape of
the hand and heart is not
perfect. Therefore, i try to
re-do this work.

After re-do the work, i used less tape on it. The shape
of the hand is better than before. This time can
better show the relationship between 2D and 3D.
When you watch the hand in front, you may think
this is a 2D hand. After i put the heart on it,
it become a 3D model or change the view
direction also can see that.

Find the relationship between
2D and 3D is difficult. But i
found that we can change our
view direction to find the
relationshiP. Although compare
with my classmate, this is
different. This is good to use
in other art work.

Effortlessly-Draped Pieces of Fabric
Ideas come from this two artists. Not only food can show
what is “soft”. In our concept, towel always is soft.
Then i chose it! I found two pictures and try to combine
some elements from this two. But main idea is focus on
the first pictures. The second one is reference about
the curve.

This is the first sketch after i
chose this topic. It is easy to
make it. The red line represents
the need for emptiness in the
production process
After i started to make the
wood. I found a wood heart...
CAN NOT keep the same sketch.
Therefore, i changed a little
bit. Make it look “fatter”.
Also, i added two curves to
make it more details.
Coming to an end !
