A Letter from
Rich Anderson
Executive Director/CEO
Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League
We continue to make a huge impact in our community and YOU make it
all possible!
Our cover models Liberty and Glory – were surrendered to Peggy Adams
on September 4 th . Neither dog had ever seen a veterinarian in their lives
until they were under our care. Both mother and daughter were extremely
bonded, and it was important to adopt them into a loving home…together.
Please be sure to read their story and how they are doing today on page 5.
In this edition of The Shaggy Sheet, you’ll also read more special,
heartwarming stories. You’ll meet Bandit – saved from an animal cruelty
case in Citrus County, Florida and now…living an amazing new life with
cozy plush beds and plenty of delicious treats.
Also, check out our Happy Tails on pages 14-15. We always love to share
the updates we receive from our adopters…and this is just a sampling.
And, thanks to friends like you, Peggy Adams is making a difference in the
lives of more and more animals each year. In fact, in 2021, you helped us
save more lives than any other year in our 96-year history!
And, because of your support, 2021 was monumental as we were able
to open the new Lesly S. Smith Pet Adoption Center which is already
dramatically increasing the lifesaving impact of Peggy Adams in the
community.
Thank you for making all we do possible at Peggy Adams!
With compassion for the animals,
