Kati Erickson as the new<br />

Director of Development and Marketing<br />

Her areas of focus include annual fundraising,<br />

planned giving, endowments, family foundations<br />

and donor stewardship. Prior to joining Peggy<br />

Adams Animal Rescue League, Kati has served in<br />

senior management positions at the Community<br />

Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties,<br />

Norton Museum of Art, Armory Art Center and the<br />

Daily Mail Group. She was responsible for a portfolio<br />

of major donors and served as a leading fundraiser for<br />

the Community Foundation's $150 million campaign.<br />

Kati received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from<br />

Florida State University and attended the Dreyfoos<br />

School of the Arts. She has also received her CAP®<br />

– Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy accreditation.<br />

Kati Erickson is holding Ginger, a 16-week-old<br />

mixed breed who was adopted on October 9th as<br />

part of Peggy Adams’ Pets for Heroes Program.<br />

Kati Erickson, CAP® is the organization’s new<br />

Director of Development and Marketing.<br />

As a fundraising professional for over 20 years, Kati<br />

has worked with individual donors, corporations,<br />

private foundations, and public officials to raise<br />

millions of dollars for nonprofits and facilitated<br />

hundreds of grants and scholarships. She has a solid<br />

foundation of success in growing development<br />

programs and serving as an organizational leader.<br />

group of professionals and bring with me the<br />

knowledge to build upon our strong history of<br />

philanthropic donor service and outreach. I look<br />

forward to getting to know our generous supporters<br />

who have helped make one of our community’s<br />

Kati, who resides in Wellington, is very involved in<br />

the community and has volunteered her time and<br />

expertise with the following organizations: Planned<br />

Giving Council of Palm Beach County, Board<br />

Member; Association of Fundraising Professionals<br />

(AFP), Board Member; VSA Florida – Palm Beach<br />

County, Board Member; Girl Scout Volunteer;<br />

Cultural Council of Palm Beach County, Marketing<br />

Committee; Palm Beach Post Pathfinder Awards,<br />

Scholarship Committee; and Sunfest, Volunteer<br />

Committee.<br />
