"Where pure, well-tuned, characterful, and seemingly easy acrobatics through
two and a half octaves are required, Dahl is among a relative few who can do it
all superlatively well."
– Calgary Herald
Winnipeg-born soprano Tracy Dahl returns for Mozart’s Exsultate jubilate. Having
performed with every major Canadian orchestra, Tracy has established herself as
an important artist on the international concert and opera stages.
Beethoven’s Mass in C is sometimes viewed as overshadowed by his Missa
Solemnis, but the Mass in C has a direct appeal and emotional clarity that make
it a masterwork of its own. Tracy and the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir join the
WSO with soloists Colleen Skull, Kurt Lehmann and Justin Welsh.
Alexander Mickelthwate, conductor
