SATURDAY
DECEMBER 18 I 8:00 PM
"Messiah represents the ripened product of Handel's genius, and reflects the
noblest aspirations and most exalted devotion of mankind."
– Music with Ease
Among the greatest works in the history of music, Handel’s Messiah has become a
popular staple in holiday celebrations. One of the most well-known pieces in the
Western choral literature, it remains Handel’s most famous. Our concert features a
wonderful lineup of soloists: Marni Enns, Kirsten Schellenberg, Chris Enns, Victor
Engbrecht and the Mennonite Festival Chorus with conductor Rudy Schellenberg.
