A LOOK AT OUR STUDENTS
HANNAH
VINES
Learn every day, do small
things well, and always be on
the lookout for growth opportunities. Hannah
Vines grew up in a household that stressed hard
work and commitment to family, friends, and
associates. The rising junior never had to look hard
for a role model. Hannah’s dad is the president and
CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, so she
was exposed to business at an early age.
Originally, Auburn wasn’t in the cards for this
Birmingham native. “I was previously committed
to playing volleyball at another D1 university.
Something kept calling me back to Auburn and
I ultimately decided to listen to that voice. I
switched paths and made the decision to head to
The Plains. It’s the best decision I’ve made.”
In true Vines style, Hannah did her research early.
“I heard about FMA through some friends. Caleb
Carter (FMA ’20) told me about the organization
when I was still in high school, and I made it a
point to meet Tracy and other members when I
got to campus.” Hannah joined the organization
in January of her freshman year. “FMA has helped
me achieve not only my professional goals, but my
personal and academic goals here at Auburn. The
mentorship and alumni network are what set FMA
apart from other campus organizations. Members
of the organization are passionate about finance as
well as building relationships outside of work and
school. FMA perfectly balances community and a
commitment to professional growth.”
Hannah stays busy outside of FMA as well. She is
a member of SGA, Alpha Gam sorority, Auburn
Black Student Union, and War Eagle Girls and
Plainsmen. In her spare time, she loves to knit -
blankets, hats, scarves, socks, you name it. Hannah
will be joining Goldman Sachs, NYC as a summer,
2021 intern in their IB real estate group.
