Exposure
Host career panel of senior members with internship experience in FMA’s core focus career
paths: investment banking, asset management, elite corporate finance, private wealth, and
S&T, equipping each student with equal technical preparation to pursue desired career path
Recruiting
Overview
Provide students with a NMDP binder, including FMA Career Magazine and finance
recruiting guides. Topics for recruiting are based on a cycle: Positioning Yourself, Polishing
Up, Understanding What You Want, Networking, Interview Preparation, and the Offer
Resume and
Behavioral
Host expert speaker in behavioral interviewing, standardize resume and cover letter
formatting, and assign new members an older mentor who serves as a guide throughout
recruiting and facilitates resume improvement and mock interviewers
Technical
Training
Cover a range of topics throughout 12 week training program, including accounting, cash
flows, cost of capital, DCFs, comparables, precedent transactions, M&A, and LBOs in a
flipped classroom environment, utilizing Wall Street Prep and in class discussions
Capstone
Project
Culminates into Capstone Project where students perform a discounted cash flow analysis
of Tiffany & Company, presenting their findings in a mock super day, which includes both
technical and behavioral interview components
