FOLLOW THESE EASY
STEPS TO A FAST START:
T E A C H E R I N S T R U C T I O N S
www.firstinmath.com
1. Go to www.firstinmath.com.
Type in your User ID and Password from
Master Sheet. Click “LOGIN.” You will
be taken to a Program Status page
which shows the total number of stickers
earned by First In Math ® teams. Click “GO.”
2. Register your class/Edit Class Info.
a) Select your name from Team Leader menu.
If not shown, add your name by choosing ADD
NEW, or clicking the ADD NEW button below.
(Be sure to include your email; required for
player resets/transfers.)
b) Select classroom grade level.
c) Enter a unique name for your class.
d) Edit password (optional).*
e) Click “SUBMIT.” Your class is now registered.
f) Click “Go to student registration page.”
3. Assign student IDs.
a) Click Assign Player or Copy Roster button.
b) Assign student Reference Name.
(ID# optional).
c) Click “SAVE CHANGES” button. Print page.
4. Distribute Membership Cards.
a) Master Sheet shows pre-assigned User ID/Passwords
students will use to log in at www.firstinmath.com.
b) Peel off the label that matches the User
ID/Password listed on the page you just
printed and stick it on the membership card.
c) Write the assigned player’s name on
card and give to her so she can log on and
begin to play!
d) Repeat b) and c) for the rest of your students.
* DO NOT share your Team Leader login with students!
If your login has been compromised, change your
Password by clicking the Edit Team Leader Info link on
your Team Leader Homepage.

STUDENTS PLAYING THE GAME
Students go to www.firstinmath.com and log in to their Home
Page with their User ID and Password. Skill Set Games: student
clicks “Start” button to activate timer and begin play. Solve the
number of 24 ® game cards shown on their Success Chart, before the
timer runs out, to earn an electronic sticker. Students continue
through various editions of the 24 ® game and earn stickers that
chart their progress. Players proceed at their own pace, as they
advance through the Skill Sets.
Student clicks Gym/Bonus/Just The Facts/Know & Show or
Measurement World icons on home page to choose more games.
Completing Game 1 of a Skill Set opens other games for that level.
TEACHER/TEAM LEADER HOMEPAGE
View Team Sticker Count, average number of stickers per student
and more. Click “Assessment Reports” for an overview of Team data.
Access more detailed Skill Set , Gym or other Assessment data.
Edit/reset players by clicking the “Assign or Edit Player IDs” link. You
can enter the “Card of the Day,” contest, available to teachers only.
When you are logged in as a teacher, return to this page at any
time by clicking “Home” in the navigation bar.
