Resources are spent on subsidising community events,<br />
community projects such as 50% of the School Crossing<br />
Patrol on Cross Pit Lane and support for Rainford in Bloom.<br />
Income also covers the cost of the administration of the<br />
Parish Council and the Village Hall through the Clerk’s<br />
office. Additionally, the Parish Council covers all the costs<br />
for the Village Hall which have included extensive repairs<br />
to the structure of the building this financial year.<br />
Community Speed watch<br />
Having been stalled by COVID restrictions, the speed<br />
watch volunteers are finally out and about in the village,<br />
looking out for speeding vehicles and illegally parked<br />
cars. The aim is to make it unacceptable to break the<br />
speed limit, and stop inconsiderate and dangerous parking<br />
throughout Rainford.<br />

that it takes many tails to tell the<br />

Rainford Christmas Fayre<br />
Rainford Christmas Fayre will take place<br />
this year on 4th <strong>Dec</strong>ember <strong>2021</strong> from<br />
10am – 4pm!<br />
With Father Christmas in his grotto and a<br />
variety of exciting stalls, you’ll have your<br />
Christmas Shopping all wrapped up. You<br />
can also treat yourself to some delicious<br />
food and snacks. With entertainment<br />
throughout the day, and some fantastic<br />
raffle prizes, it will be a very special fun-filled<br />
event for everyone.<br />

Join us at the Village Hall for a great Christmas Night Out with family, friends or colleagues. Tickets are just £35 per person,<br />
