Brass is Back<br />
When <strong>St</strong> <strong>Helens</strong> Sinfonietta last welcomed Cobalt Brass<br />
in January 2020, the audience went away impressed with<br />
this quintet of young, Manchester-based musicians who<br />
played a varied range of music for everyone.<br />
The group returns to the United Reformed Church in<br />
Ormskirk <strong>St</strong>reet next month and they will again be<br />
performing an eclectic programme of pieces, with a few<br />
seasonal favourites thrown in for good measure.<br />
The concert takes place on Saturday 5th <strong>Dec</strong>ember. The<br />
doors open at 5.20pm, and the concert starts at 6pm. To<br />

<strong>St</strong>ar Film<br />
Rainford Community Cinema are showing the heartwarming<br />
animated 2017 film ‘The <strong>St</strong>ar’ next month.<br />
Voiced by some impressive Hollywood glitterati including<br />
Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey, and Kelly Clarkson, The <strong>St</strong>ar<br />
tells the story of a time when a small but brave donkey<br />
and his animal friends become the unsung heroes of the<br />
first Christmas.<br />
‘The <strong>St</strong>ar’ is showing at Rainford Village Hall on Church<br />
Road in Rainford on Sunday 12th <strong>Dec</strong>ember at 3.30pm,<br />
and the doors will open at 2.30pm.<br />

17th <strong>Nov</strong>ember at the Totally Wicked <strong>St</strong>adium, home of<br />
