Private Individuals. Strategic plan was designed to spot the school as one of the

premier schools to be recognized as Best Implementing Eco Friendly and Sustainable

Schools in the Central Visayas Region.

The implementation began on 2017

where the school participated in the search for

Negros Island Region / Region VII “Brigada

Eskwela” and recognized Best Implementing

School. The search was about the advocacy of

the Department of Education’s “Sulong

Edukalidad” – a program encouraging every

Filipino to pursue and continue education

amidst different circumstances every school is

facing. “Brigada Eskwela sa Tunghaan (BEST)

sa Guba” was one of the continuing programs

of the school which caters not just the quality

education of learners through lessons but also

ensuring conducive facilities that abide with the

welfare of the environment. The School

headed by the Brigada sa Eskwela

Coordinator, with its stakeholders continue to

promote quality education to foster competent

graduates while keeping the school premises

become conducive to learning and

environmentally conscious. From 2017 up to

present Brigada Eskwela gives recognition to

the school that opens the door for other

organizations and individuals to give help and

support for the development of the school.

A welcoming hut with replicators’ names in the

entrance area is one of the projects of Brigada sa Eskwela

sa Tunghaan.

Meanwhile, in S.Y. 2019 – 2020, the PANGAMOT Program of Eco-Friendly and

Sustainable School was established. PANGAMOT Program aim was to intensify zero-waste

implementation among participating household. Orientation on waste segregation, tree

planting on all stakeholders, followed by the pledge of commitment and clean-up Drive was

held. To establish consistent implementation in school and participating household, random

monitoring on waste segregation was hold once a month. “Basura Mo, Pagandahin Mo”, a

quarterly competition for best innovative and creative way of implementing the activities of

the banner program was administered to encourage creativity and innovation in all

stakeholders. At the end of the school year, rewards were given to the most outstanding

stakeholders who participated in the whole year activity. In S.Y. 2020-2021, continuation on

the implementation of PANGAMOT Program remain.
