E - Bulb Is Filled With 3m Novec Engineered Fluid. This Non-toxic, Non-conductive

Studies have shown that Fires caused by Lithium Batteries (from Computers, Electrical Vehicles, Electronic Cigarettes, etc.) have been dramatically increased. 

Those type of Fires cannot be Extinguished with the known Extinguishing Agents MOBIAK uses a new and revolutionary Extinguishing Agent which has been developed 

during the past few years in response to the demand for products which can deal with high temperature flammable metal fires, lithium ion and lithium 

polymer battery fires. 

This Extinguishing Agent offers a significant performance improvement over conventional extinguishing agents when applied to these very particular fire types 

- it has proven to be the most effective extinguishing agent currently available worldwide for Lithium battery fires. 

The Extinguishing Agent is a natural mineral-based fire extinguishing agent in Gold/Brown Color, environmentally friendly which is made from naturally occurring 

Vermiculite – it is an aqueous dispersion of exfoliated Vermiculite which is most effective when deployed as a mist. 

Vermiculite is the name given to a group of hydrated laminar aluminum-iron-magnesium silicates. Raw vermiculite consists of thin, flat flakes containing microscopic 

layers of water. The chemical exfoliation of vermiculite produces microscopic, individual platelets that are freely suspended in water, which yields a 

stable aqueous dispersion of vermiculite.

HOW THE EXTINGUISHING AGENT WORKS 

When Lithium - ion batteries are exposed to heat, physical impact/damage or overcharging, they go into thermal runaway. 

The cells are sufficiently swollen, releasing hot flammable gases (hydrocarbons) which can ignite. Hydrocarbons burn vigorously at high temperature and rapidly heat surrounding cells 

and materials resulting in a significant fire. Extinguishing Agent is applied as a fine mist which instantly cools the batteries and extinguishes the flames. Extinguishing agent encapsulates 

the fuel source and insulates the cells preventing further thermal runaway, bringing the fire under control. 

Is the Extinguishing Agent environmentally safe? 

Vermiculite is a natural mineral exempt from REACH regulations. Vermiculite is chemically and physically inert. Exposed to high temperature, it releases steam while It Is harmless to 

Humans and Nature. It is a Fluoride-Free environmentally friendly choice.

HFC-227ea CLEAN AGENT CEILING 

HFC-227ea is a Clean, Safe fire-fighting Agent that has excellent Fire Suppression 

Properties for use in Total Flooding Automatic Extinguishing Systems. 

HFC-227ea Automatic Fire Extinguisher Series is Ideal to Protect and Combat 

Fires in Engine Compartments for Land or Maritime Applications. This Automatic 

Extinguisher Series can be used for applications such as trucks, small 

boats, large boats, computer rooms, motor sport and engine plant rooms It 

can be used on class A, B and C fires and is also safe to use on live electrical 

fires. 

One Unit must be installed per compartment to provide complete protection 

– the Protected Volume is specified by the Extinguishing Agent of the 

Extinguisher. 

Optionally there is a low pressure warning switch which can be fitted to the 

Sprinkler Valve of the Extinguisher. The device continuously monitors the Extinguisher’s 

Pressure and in the event of the pressure dropping below 10bar 

the switch to enable a signal to an Alarm Unit. 

HFC-227ea shall not be used on fires involving the following materials unless 

they have been tested to the satisfaction of the authority having jurisdiction. 

• Certain Chemicals or mixtures of Chemicals, such as Cellulose Nitrate and 

Gunpowder, that are capable of rapid oxidation in the absence of Air. 

• Reactive Metals such as Lithium, Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium, Titanium, 

Zirconium, Uranium and Plutonium. 

• Metal Hydrides. 

• Chemicals Capable of undergoing auto-thermal decomposition, such as 

certain organic peroxi - dase and hydrazine.
