The Stellar X750 watt has been added
to the range due to customer feedback.
Offering more power than traditional 500
watt Tungsten units. The 750 watt meets
with the demands of Professional Studio

Photography due to its noiseless operation but can also
be used for ‘Still’ Photography. Fitted with an Interfit Pro

A daylight balanced cold light source producing a soft even light from its 40cm (16”) Flood
Reflector. Three 28 watt Spiral Fluorescent Lamps produce daylight balanced illumination

The INT293 Kit includes an Educational DVD to help

The Matinee range of LED Lighting offers the perfect tools for the DSLR and Video generation of film makers,
providing a lightweight and controllable fill.
The dimmer puts the operator in total control, as ambient lighting conditions change. The LED 256 unit clamps on top
of any camera using a standard hotshoe mount, and are lightweight and small enough to live there even when not in
use. An adjustable Articulated Arm (INT344) is also available for positioning of the light to enable the operator to adjust
and change the look and direction of the light source and use as an off axis kicker for instance. The Matinee LED 256 is

EXD200
The EXD200 is lightweight and stylish yet very robust, and it is
designed specifically for 21st century photographers on the move.
The 5 volts sync voltage makes them highly suitable for use with
all current digital and film cameras. Push button controls allow the
desired power levels and functions to be quickly set. EXD200 also has
user changeable flashtubes.
The EXD can also overcome the problem caused by cameras that send
out a pre flash before exposure, a simple press of the buttons tells the
EXD to ignore up to 3 pre-flashes. Accurate power adjustment in one
tenth of an f-stop increments over a 4 f-stop range and a high guide
number of 45m (135ft) ensure the exact amount of light required.
100% recharge is confirmed by both audible and visual means in
less than 2 seconds. A built in Infra red slave cell allows freedom in
the studio when used with the Interfit IRX transmitter (INT411).
The EXD200 kit has the same configuration as the EX150 MkIII 2

The EX400 Ti is the latest generation in the multiple award winning EX range,
utilising a unique radio control system the heads have up to seven individual ID’s
programmed by the user. This allows each head to be controlled from the camera

Each Head has the ability to assign an ID
Number 1 though to 7, this allows the
Dynamic Trigger to be able to adjust the
features of each head separately from any
the other EX Ti heads being used in the
same room up to 12 meters away from the
trigger. If you assigned a head to channel
1 and another head to channel 2 you can
individually adjust each heads power
functions and fire the head via the
Dynamic Ti Trigger by setting its
corresponding channel number
on the trigger.
When used with the Sync cells turned off,
complete control is offered via radio signals
only. Once you have set up the controls
and the lighting the way you want them to
operate, simply press the top left button on

The I Sync 4 has 4 independent radio channels for use
where multiple photographers may be using wireless
triggers such as at a wedding etc. Now you can

between optical triggering or wireless triggering.
• Optical triggering is similar to your in built sync cell
on your studio flash heads and can allow a greater

SHOOT THROUgH
Decide if you will be bouncing light off a ceiling or wall or diffusing the
light through it as this does affect the quality of the light dramatically.
When shooting through you will have a very soft light due to the soft
white surface used in the umbrella, generally this is placed close to the
subject. This also gives the appearance of a large and soft light source
which is ideal for portraits indoors or outdoors.
Interfit’s range offers several opportunities by using additional covers
in Black or Silver. These can be also ideal for “BLANKING OFF” (GOBO)
areas you do not want to light in a portrait for instance.
You may not want too much light striking the body or simply
adjusting the drop-off effect of the light on the subject.
REFLECTED
Ideal for shooting large groups or full length portraits as the main or
key light with the lighting set at say 45 degrees this will allow a greater
coverage of light than when compared to a shoot through at the same
distance due to the highly reflective surface used, it also enables us to
keep as much of the heads power as possible over a
greater working distance.

5in1 REFLECTORS
Probably the most underestimated piece of gear in th kit bag, ideal for photographers on
the move and where space is paramount.
The 1 /2 f stop translucent reflector is easily converted by a zip on overlay sleeve which
allows four additional surfaces to be used: Gold, Silver, Black and White.
The Gold, Silver and White surfaces fill in reflected light in to shadow area by up to
1 F stops whilst the black will detract up to 11 /2 F stops to improve contrast in the shadow
areas. Ideal for use by portrait and wedding photographers.

PROSoftboxes
A range of fifteen professional quality softboxes, manufactured from the very best materials. The internal rods are
made from strong flexible carbon steel or duralumin with rounded tops for maximum protection; the fabrics are made
from specially treated polyester and are ‘heat resistant up to 400ºC/752ºF’. The highly reflective silver base produces
an even edge to edge distribution of light. The two layers of high quality diffusion are non fluorescent UV coated
preventing them from yellowing.
With both diffusers in place a maximum light loss of only 1.2 f stops is achieved. Or you can remove the internal diffuser for
additional versatility the light is focused in the center of the box with light dissipated towards the outside edge. The front
recessed diffuser can also be removed to increase contrast which also creates a pleasing center weighted effect in portraits.
Four shapes of box are available with a range of narrow profiles and sizes for each shape. The Interfit Pro Soft Box range is
designed to fit onto the majority of studio flash units and each box requires a Speedring from a choice of thirteen speed
rings.

Strips can be used in a variety of ways, producing a much narrower band of light when compared to the
Octobox. The strip is a useful tool for creating side lighting for full length fashion or portraits. Or it can be used
on a boom arm for a soft hair light.
By removing the internal and external baffles high contrast lighting can be achieved for dramatic images
when combined with any other Interfit boxes, or it can be used as a large reflector creating a special
illumination effect. Some Interfit Stellar Halogen Kits feature Strip boxes. Maximum light loss=1 stop with
both baffles inserted, except SLBR510/612 which are 1.1 stops.

The Octobox creates a different approach to your lighting. The Octobox is the perfect answer for portrait or

spread of light.

The EFX Kit is the perfect addition to the Portrait Kit. By adding the

The Rapida 8 Octobox is a remarkable simple softbox using the same
high quality materials as the Interfit Pro Range of softboxes.
Highly portable thanks to the innovative speed lugs and fittings on the
Speedring allows the softbox to be stored away in seconds in its supplied
carry bag. To use simply pull the rods into place until they click in the
speedring allowing a rapid set up time to be used.

MACRO RINg LIgHT
The Macro Ring lite is a useful addition to the range offering both Flash and Continuous lighting for close up macro work.
Each kit is supplied with six adaptor rings to screw on to your lens offering a secure fitting of the Ring lite; Adaptor rings
supplied cover the most popular sizes of macro lens. 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm,72mm.
1. Simply attach the control unit to the Hotshoe of your camera.
(Standard ISO hotshoes only) (Not Sony/Minolta)
2. Connect the lead to the left hand side of the control unit and the other end to the ring light.
3. Attach the correct sized adaptor ring to your lens.
4. Carefully slide the Ring Light unit onto the adaptor ring.
5. Make a choice of F = Flash or C = Continuous on the back of the Control unit.
6. Adjust the power setting as required for correct exposure.
7. Have fun experimenting with the Strobies Macro Ring Light.

XS BRACKET
The Strobies XS is a unique way to hold your flash gun and use it with a softbox, a large beauty dish or with almost any
other “S” type fitting accessories available.
A “7” reflector (as shown bottom left) is included with every XS bracket allowing you to add further accessories such as
honeycombs or gel holders. One of the major benefits of the XS Bracket is its ability to rotate it’s shoe mount to enable
your iTTL or eTTL port port to be visable visable to your your Infrared Infrared triggering system such as an an SU800, STE-2 or control/trigger flashgun. flashgun.
In In addition to to the rotating shoe a second shoe can hold a radio receiver or a second flash gun should you desire to use the
Strobies XS to hold an Umbrella in the Lighting Stands fitting fitting provided. Using 2 2 flashguns effectively doubles your output.
A major benefit of this is to reduce your recycling time and preserve your batteries to enable longer usage times.
A wide range of accessories are available to fit the
Strobies XS bracket’s “S” type bayonet fitting, including
the following items:
Beauty dishes (RF5000)
Softboxes (Any Pro range or Stellar Softbox up to 1mtr)
Snoots (RF5006 or INT209)
Honeycombs (AH6020, AH6030, AH6060).
These fit directly into the included 7” reflector. You can
also add the Stellar range of Barndoors (RB4001) and the
colour gel set (AC8011) allowing you to add spot colour
to your backgrounds.

Any Interfit Umbrella can be fitted to the XS bracket via
the Lighting Stands mounting bracket. When used with
the standard reflector the light will fill the umbrella in a

The replacement shoe enables the use
of new larger foot flashguns such as
the Nikon SB900 to be used with the
XS brackets.

SUCTION CUP
Simply undo the locking nut to raise the suction
cup seal. Wet the cup and apply the unit to a
solid surface, push the unit onto the surface
and tighten the locking nut until a bond has
been been formed between the suction cup and the
solid surface.
For best results results allow to settle for one hour hour
before before using. Test for a firm bond before
putting camera’s camera’s or flashguns on the suction suction

The Strobies Boom Arm has been developed with small hotshoe
Speedlites in mind allowing the user to get the flash up high

your own weights to the Boom Arm and fit the Arm to almost any
