AUR supports your endeavors to gain real-world,
practical experience by offering internship
opportunities each semester and dedicated, ondemand
career advising.
All of our students are encouraged to take at least one
internship during their time at AUR; many will take two.
R.E.A.L PROJECTS
Alongside our external internships, AUR offers REAL Projects,
a campus-based, professionalizing experience program
that sees students from diverse disciplines with broadly
differentiated skill-sets working as teams on real world
projects provided by real companies.
These projects provide the unique experience of working
for real companies, applying learned skills to address real
business challenges.
We are proud that 89% of our students are employed or
in graduate programs within six months of graduation.

IN ROME
Living and studying in Rome is an enriching
experience filled with history, culture, art,
and food. Learning to navigate and thrive
within this new culture is a real catalyst for

students abroad. Rome is the most
visited city.
2. Italy has 59 UNESCO world heritage
sites, more than any other country.
3. Italy is ranked #1 for global cultural
influence (U.S. News & World Report,
2023). It’s synonymous with fine food,
fashion, and la bella vita.
4. The average cost of living in Rome for a
student is between $700 and $1300 per

AUR offers optional university housing, providing students with secure,
convenient accommodation that is close to campus.
We don’t do dorms. Our fully furnished apartments allow students to
immerse themselves in Italian life and culture while building friendships
with fellow AUR students.
On and off-campus, there is a vibrant and active social/cultural scene.
Whether it’s through the various activities offered year-round, exciting
clubs, sports teams, leadership opportunities or community service,
Student Life encourages students to find their own niche on campus
and in the city of Rome.

SPEND YOUR SUMMER IN ROME
AUR offers two summer sessions, one in June and
the second in July. Earn 3-6 credits and explore the
Eternal City with students from across the globe.
Here’s a small sample of the available courses over
the summer session - the majority of which feature
off-campus learning experiences.
Whatever your major, you will find summer courses
that will complement your degree and add skills or
knowledge that broadens your perspective and your

AUR is committed to helping you
finance your education.
Over 65% of our students are receiving
merit and/or needs-based institutional
aid from AUR.
US citizens and permanent residents
may also submit a FAFSA to apply for US
federal direct loans. Approximately 33% of
U.S. students utilize federal student loans
to help finance their education.
In addition to financial aid, AUR operates
a Student Training Program, providing
students with professional experience
through working in various departments
within the University.
For veterans and their dependents, AUR
accepts the Post-9/11 GI Bill (among other
chapters) and offers its own AUR Yellow
Ribbon tuition waiver.
